This week I am thankful for our new baby who is scheduled to arrive June 9th. We had our first ultrasound this afternoon and I really enjoyed the connection with Adam and the baby.
I have been so busy with church, Addison and life that I have not had as much time to think about the coming baby. I pray over it and take care of myself but it's just not the same as when your pregnant with the first child. Seeing the ultrasound and hearing the heartbeat gave me a tangible thing to relate the baby with.
I am also ever thankful for my first born son Addison who has taught me to love in an incredible way. In the past 18 months I truly have experienced the concept of my heart walking around outside my body.
