For the past few days our home has been packed with visitors. My sister and her family as well as another young couple have come to "scout" out the area as both families are in the process of transitioning to Monroe. YEAH!! With 4 kids and 7 adults hanging in our townhouse things have gotten a bit messy and out of sorts for me, but the mess is more than worth it to have visitors.
About a year and a half ago when we felt the "call" to plant a church in Monroe we left all of our family and friends and pursued the seemingly impossible assignment of starting a new work with a new face in a city that is quite traditional. Along the way we have connected with some amazing people, seen the church grow by like 600% since our "home meetings" last winter (and we haven't even officially launched), served the down and out in the community and seen God's grace be more than enough. Even with all of these things going on I would often get to missing my big sissy Stacy so I am beyond thrilled that her family is on board with the vision for Elevate Church and are making preparations to relocate here ASAP.
With Addison loving Stacy's two kids Allyson and Jacob, hopefully they will arrive in plenty of time to take Addison for a few days when the next little guy comes along.
