Adam celebrated his 33rd birthday on Friday. I took him out for a "romantic" dinner at Outback followed by an indulgence of 2 1/2 hours of relaxing with books at Barnes & Noble on Thursday evening. (A pre-baby frequent)
On Friday afternoon Addison and I traveled to Battle Creek with Adam and stayed overnight at a hotel. We had so much fun hangin as a family. This was our first time in a hotel with Addison. He ran around the room looking at and getting into everything. His favorite, the floor length mirror which he stood at for long lengths of time smiling and slapping it. We also went swimming in the indoor pool. This was again a first for Addison. As you can see in the photos, he had a great time. After a long evening of coaxing Addison to sleep, we all slept well and woke up refreshed.
Adam left early to teach at a Leadership Seminar at Rhema Word Outreach Center. Addison and I hung out for a few more ours resting and swimming then met up with Adam at the church for the last couple of sessions. We had a great weekend and enjoyed all the first time experiences with Addison.
