Late Night Phone Call

It's 9:30, I just finished reading my latest book find - The Pact by Jodi Picoult (great character development and wow, what a twist). The phone rang and I picked it to up to hear my favorite little nephew Jacob tell me he got his birthday present early (turning 5 on 9/6), a new red bike. He goes on to tell me that he wants to give Addison his old blue bike as it is now too small for him and he wants Addison to have a bike. How sweet is that?
I was just blown away by the generosity of such a little guy. I can't help but think about how great his mom and dad are doing at teaching him to prefer and think of others.
Although Addison is a bit to small to ride a bike this year, I will gladly hang on to the bike and when Addison makes his first attempt at riding I will go on and on about how his big cousin Jacob gave him the bike to enjoy.
