Tomorrow I will be speaking at our church on Vitally Connecting with others. I am pleased and a bit nervous at Adams offer for me to be a part of the teaching team at Elevate. Although I have had plenty of public speaking experience, this will be the first message I am preaching at our church. I have spoken at various size churches, at women's conferences and plenty on the mission field but this is a first for me - at my husbands church!
You see I have been pretty sick all week with a nasty chest cold and I still have that raspy deep voice (that would work if I were a contestant on American Idol) so please pray it is completely cleared up by tomorrow a.m. as I want people to hear and get something from the message not be distracted by my speaking voice.
I will post again in a few days letting you know how things went.
